Winter with Ted

Hello friends and welcome to my wintertime blog. I've been driving around the Tractorland farm to see some of the jobs that Les has been doing this winter in the cold weather.  I took some pictures to show you.

Here are the cows with their calves in the barn.
They have lots of hay to eat and straw to lie on.

Les is going to get some more straw to put into their barn.
Oh look how muddy the loader is Les!

Les pushes the big spikes on his loader into the big straw
bale to lift it up and drive it around to the barn.

This cow likes the smell of the clean straw.

Now Les is going to tidy up the hedges in the field with the hedgecutter.
This will make the hedges grow nice and thick so that the cows cannot
push through them and escape!  Here he is going into the field and up and down
the hedge.

Some of the cows are out in the field.  They are watching
the tractor because they think it might be bringing them
hay to eat.  Les will be back to do that later.

The cows in the field get very muddy legs!  I can see brown
and black cows today.

If you have seen any good machines or animals in the fields this winter, please let me know.
I'll be back with some more pictures for you in the Spring.  Until then....keep on blogging!
Bye for now - Tractor Ted.
