Hi Fans - Over the past year Ted has been on some great travel adventures both near and far so we thought we'd share some with you and hope that you might have some more to add?  We could even start an 'Extreme Ted' blog for the more adventurous Ted fans to post their images to rival 'Extreme Ironing' etc...!

Ted's Travelogue started when we sponsored three intrepid gap year students in their entry to the Mongol Rally.  Pete Ludlow, Olly Wright and Ben Tilley all west country guys travelled in a very old VW Polo from London to Ulaanbaatar the capital of Mongolia covering nearly 10,000 miles.  Tractor Ted went with them to deliver lots of his books and DVDs to orphanages along the way.  Have a look at the exciting places they went to and all the happy faces of new Ted fans!  The event raised funds for two fantastic children's charities, Hope and Homes for Children and Mercy Corps Mongolia.  So next time you're off for the day - don't forget to take Ted and a camera with you.  We'd love to map out your Travels with Ted.

My Sister and I have had a smashing day. We went to Peterborough and met Tractor Ted. We sat on him, had our photo taken, and had so much fun. We fed the animals and saw lots of farm machinery. We love Tractor Ted, he is our favorite. Thank you.

Olly Wright

A massive thank you to Tractorland for sponsoring us on this adventure, we raised over £1000 for charity and had an incredible time. Amazingly the car managed to complete the journey despite losing it's exhaust and a having a leaking fuel tank!
Tractor Ted was with us all the way, and was always a favorite with the border guards and local children. The children at the orphanage in Mongolia were delighted with the books and DVDs.
